Inmate Search Disclaimer

Information contained herein should not be relied upon for any type of legal action. The Will County Sheriff’s Office cannot represent that the information is current, accurate or complete. Persons may use false identification information. True identity can only be confirmed through  fingerprint comparison.


Bonding Out Instructions

Bail maybe posted seven (7) days a week, twenty-four (24) hours a day, at the Will County Adult Detention Facility. Only exact amount for bail is accepted. There are two methods of posting bail: cash and credit card.

Accepted Credit Cards:

If out of state bail may be posted through an approved money transfer method. Individuals should contact the Will County Circuit Clerks office for additional information and instructions. (815) 727-8596


Court House Information

Courtrooms and court times are posted at the court house on the assigned court date. Limited parking is available adjacent to the court house. Additional public parking is available on Scott, Cass, and Ottawa.


Depositing Funds to Inmate Account

Cash and money orders will be accepted for deposit to inmate trust fund accounts. No checks will be accepted for deposit; this includes government, personal and payroll checks. There is a two work day hold on all money deposited to an inmate account.

Visitation

Visitation schedule is listed with the detailed information for each inmate. General visitors must be on the approved inmate's visitation list two days prior to the inmate's assigned visitation day. The requesting of individuals to be added to the approved list is the responsibility of the individual inmate. Jail staff does not have authority to add approved visitors without written authorization from the inmate.


Mail Regulations

Certain items are not permitted to be sent to an inmate. If you are not certain whether an item can be accepted, please call (815) 740-1250 before sending anything.
