Summary: Employee stated she discovered person/s unknown stole a sheet of three business checks from the checkbook. After contacting the bank she was informed that they had been cashed at a Wal Mart for $950 each.

Summary: Victim stated person/s unknown stole from his storage unit, a cart, battery charger, grass catcher, tool chest, electric grinder, electric drill, ratchet set, heater, several plumbing tools and sever copper fittings.

Summary: Repairman for Com Ed stated that one of the utility poles was on fire due to electrical wires making contact with pole cross arms that was apparently caused by some type of large machinery striking the pole.

Upon using the newly issued Visa card he was informed that he had insufficient funds and subsequently found out that Skylight had not cancelled his previous account allowing fraudulent transactions amounting to $705.

Summary: Two customers witnessed a male/white subject wearing a large jacket running from Dominicks. The witnessed also heard a sound like bottles were clinking together as he ran. The offender then entered a silver vehicle with a female driver. The offending vehicle then struck another vehicle in the parking lot and then sped away. Later, the store manager confirmed that several bottles of Monet White Star Champagne were missing.

Summary: Over ten mailboxes were knocked down around midnight through Wildshire street. It was undetermined how they were knocked down.

Summary: Victim stated person/s unknown gained entry into her residence by prying the doorjamb of the front door open. Stolen was miscellaneous jewelry.

Summary: Linda S. Hofer, age 43, of 2616 Oak Rail in New Lenox was cited for failure to yield at an intersection and was transported to Silver Cross Hospital for non-life threatening injuries after she did not see a vehicle coming toward her and pulled out in front of it. Hofer struck the vehicle of Deborah A. Airola Bayci, age 44, of 1509 Nelson Road in New Lenox and the vehicle of Edward W. Kosteck, age 17, of 22617 S. Spencer Road in New Lenox. Bayci was also transported to Silver Cross for non-life threatening injuries.

Summary: Assistant Principal stated person/s unknown spray painted graffiti on the concession stand on school grounds.

Summary: Victim stated that he received a phone call from a clothing outlet in California who informed him that a person was attempting to use his American Express card to purchase an unusually large amount of clothing. Victim then contacted American Express who informed him that there had been $12, 412 worth of fraudulent charges on his account for airline tickets to various locations and several other unauthorized purchases.

Summary: Victim stated that he received a phone call from Illiana Financial Fraud Division who informed him that there had been recent fraudulent charges on his account for over $870.00
Location: Schoolhouse, north of Rt. 30 New Lenox
Summary: When Sheriff’s deputies arrived on the scene, the driver and his passenger had already been transported to Silver Cross Hospital by New Lenox Fire. The driver, a sixteen year old New Lenox resident had lost control of his vehicle when his tires went into the gravel alongside the road. His vehicle then hit a guardrail, shot the vehicle across Schoolhouse, down into a ditch, up the ditch, hit a support cable of a pole, up an embankment and then back down, finally coming to a stop. Both the driver and his 17 year old male passenger were treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Summary: Employee of TD Pete’s Shell stated two female/white subjects and one male/white subject in a brown Oldsmobile Bravado drove off without paying for their gas purchase of $30.80.

Summary: Victim stated person/s unknown used his Chase debit card number to purchase an X-Box 360 from gamestop.com. The victim caught the suspicious purchase in time however, the X-Box had not been shipped yet and the order was cancelled.

Summary: Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a disturbance. Upon arrival deputies were met by several subjects stating that there had been a fight, several other subjects were fleeing the scene on foot. Arrested was Timothy Drapeau, age 25, of 14 Hawthorn Drive in Diamond; charged with aggravated battery and felony mob action….James Casillas, age 21, of 420 Harwood St. in Joliet; charged with two counts of battery and felony mob action…..Brian Frost, age 29, of 210 E. Noble in Lebanon, IN; charged with felony mob action….Robert Lardi, age 22, of 29929 S. Kavanaugh in Wilmington; charged with felony mob action. They were transported to the Will County ADF.
Crete Green Garden Monee Peotone Washington Will

Summary: Darryl E. Smith, age 40, of this address, was arrested for two counts of domestic battery.
Location: 28000 block of S. Western Avenue Beecher
Summary: Victim stated while away for a Thanksgiving dinner, person/s unknown shattered the glass in the back door in order to gain entry into his home. Stolen was a digital camera, cell phone, miscellaneous coins, an electronic component for a hand massager and keys to his dark green 1997 Chevy Tahoe, along with the 1997 Chevy Tahoe. After Sheriff’s deputies took the residential burglary report and were heading back to the Crete substation they observed a dark green 1997 Chevy Tahoe parked along side the road on Knacke Road. Bobby J. Charlton, age 28, of 210 W. Crawford Avenue in Peotone was charged with possession of stolen motor vehicle and felony driving while license revoked. Deputies are looking for other suspects in the burglary and are continuing their investigation.
