LOCKPORT

7/2       Location:  N. New Avenue and Romeo Rd.             

            Summary:  Employee of Future Environmental of Mokena stated person/s unknown entered his job site and stole 400ft. of 8 gauge copper wire.

 

7/4       Location:  105 Earl                 Bonnie Brae Sanitary Station

            Summary:  Person/s unknown damaged the side window of a John Deere tractor.

 

            Location:  3500 block of S. State

            Summary:  Person/s unknown stole a toolbox containing $200 worth of tools from his back porch.

 

7/7       Location:  19000 block of W. Jacquie Avenue

            Summary:  Person/s unknown entered a residence and detached garage and stole a cell phone, charger, headphones and a pack of cigarettes.

 

7/8       Location:  100 block of Princeton

            Summary:  Person/s unknown shot several bullets into a residence and a vehicle.  Deputies observed 5 holes on the east exterior of the home, 11 on the front exterior, 1 in the door jam, 1 in the front window and 5 in the windshield of the vehicle.  The resident was not home at the time of the shooting. 

 

7/9       Location:  2800 block of S. State

            Summary:  Person/s unknown broke into a vehicle and stole several construction tools.

 

EAST TOWNSHIPS

7/2       Location:  W. Exchange and Lincoln Avenue                        Crete

            Summary:  Robert E. Mason, age 48, of 27460 S. Crawford Avenue in Monee was cited for driving while license suspended and obstructed windshield.

 

            Location:  3000 block of E. Poplar Lane                                Crete

            Summary:  Person/s unknown stole a rear tire and rim from a Dodge Neon.  The vehicle was resting on three bricks that did not belong to the vehicle owner.

 

7/3       Location:  26000 block of S. Woodlawn Avenue                  Crete

            Summary:  Person/s unknown broke into an attached garage and stole a garden cultivator and a chainsaw.

 

            Location:  Crawford and University Parkway                       University Park

            Summary:  Alesha R. Smith, age 21, of 14510 Shepard Drive in Dolton, IL was cited for no valid driverís license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

 

7/4       Location:  W. Exchange and S. Western Avenue                  University park

            Summary:  Antonio Graves, age 26, of 1938 Yale Avenue in Chicago Heights was cited for speeding and driving while license suspended.

 

 

 

7/5       Location:  25516 S. LaGrange Rd.                 Monee             American Tower

            Summary:  Person/s unknown entered the tower property and stole two copper buss bars from the exterior of the building.

 

            Location:  W. Dralle Road and S. Will Center Rd.                University Park

            Summary:  Devin Morris, age 19, of 689 Cassendra Lane in University Park was cited for driving left of center and driving while license suspended.

 

7/6       Location:  23000 block of S. Volbrecht Rd.              Crete

            Summary:  Person/s unknown broke into a residence and stole 200 bottles of alcohol, numerous tools, several guns, several TVís, and several stereos.  Offender/s also stole a 2004 Chrysler Town and Country mini-van from the driveway.

 

7/7       Location:  24000 block of S. State Line Road                       Crete

            Summary:  Person/s unknown stole a copper lawn archway (13ft. tall by 7ft. wide) from the yard of a residence.

 

            Location:  29000 block of S. Stoney Island               Beecher

            Summary:  Efrain Barajas, age 31, of 9747 S. Avenue H in Chicago was arrested for reckless discharge of a firearm, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and no FOID card, after deputies were called to a loud music complaint.  Upon arrival a deputy observed several vehicles with approximately 150 to 200 people in the backyard of a residence.  While standing near the driveway he observed Barajas, his wife, and three small children walk to an SUV, place the children in the vehicle, and then pointed a firearm into the air and discharge it five times.  Barajas and his wife were ordered to the ground by the deputy and he took possession of the Colt .38 Super Series 80 firearm.  Additional deputies arrived on the scene and Barajas was arrested and taken into custody. 

 

7/9       Location:  S. Kings Road and W. Steger Rd.                        Crete

            Summary:  Betsy Ramirez, age 21, of 290 E. 22nd St. in Chicago Heights was cited for driving while license suspended.

 

SOUTH TOWNSHIPS

 

7/3       Location:  2027 Roberts                     Wilmington

            Summary:  Robert D. Bradbury, Jr., age 36, of this address, was arrested for battery, resisting a peace officer and was issued a Will County violation for illegal fireworks.

 

7/4       Location:  W. Ballou Rd. and S. Old Chicago Rd.                Wilmington

            Summary:  Mark C. Heggie, age 31, of 19515 W. Goodwin Rd. in Wilmington was cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and no valid registration.

 

7/7       Location:  3195 E. Division                Diamond Shell

            Summary:  Person/s unknown pumped $52.20 worth of gasoline into their vehicle and left without paying.

 

WEST TOWNSHIPS

 

7/2       Location:  S. Frontage Rd. and W. Renwick Rd.                  Plainfield

            Summary:  Domingo Zarate, age 46, of 500 Chase Avenue in Joliet was cited for no valid driverís license, improper lane usage, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

 

 

7/6       Location:  Remington and N. Weber Rd.                   DuPage

            Summary:  Fernando Campuzano, age 27, of 190 Beacon Ridge Drive in Bolingbrook was cited for no valid driverís license and improper lighting.

 

JOLIET

 

7/2       Location:  Canal Road and W. Shepley Rd.              Channahon

            Summary:  Two male victims, ages 24 and 27, stated that they parked a Pontiac convertible Sunbird at the intersection of Canal and Shepley so they could go swimming in the river.  Upon returning to the vehicle both victimís discovered their wallets were missing.  Both wallets contained credit cards; one had $30 and the other had $8. 

 

            Location:  4th and White

            Summary:  Courtney E. Smith, age 19, of 1328 Pequot in Joliet was arrested for aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, possession of a stolen firearm, and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.

 

7/3       Location:  800 block of Sherman

            Summary:  Person/s unknown stole an injector pump that was used to prevent flooding on the property.

 

            Location:  3rd and S. Briggs

            Summary:  Antwon Jamison, Jr., age 20, of 1317 Pequot in Joliet was arrested for speeding, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, no seatbelt, and DUI.

 

            Location:  N. Briggs and Copperfield

            Summary:  Brandon S. Hardeman, age 24, of 2213 Tamarack Drive in Joliet was cited for driving while license suspended.

 

7/4       Location:  S. Briggs and Washington

            Summary:  Jamie Sue Humphrey, age 39, of 1514 2nd Avenue in Joliet was cited for driving while license revoked, speeding, no insurance, and no seatbelt.

 

            Location:  S. Briggs and E. Washington

            Summary:  Susana Gonzalez, age 43, of 3136 W. 41st Street in Chicago was arrested for speeding, illegal transportation of alcohol, driving while license suspended, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and possession of a controlled substance.

 

            Location:  1300 block of Cutter Avenue

            Summary:  Chloe Woods, age 21, of 411 Krakar Avenue in Joliet was cited for speeding, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

 

            Location:  Elgin and Mohawk

            Summary:  Victor Pardo-Vargas, age 36, of 524 Garnsey in Joliet was arrested for DUI, driving while license revoked and disobeying a stop sign. 

 

7/5       Location:  200 block of Peale

            Summary:  Person/s unknown spray painted letters on the hood of a Chevy truck.

 

7/6       Location:  100 block of Keuka

            Summary:  Person/s unknown threw a large piece of asphalt through the rear window of a vehicle.

 

            Location:  1400 block of Burger Avenue

            Summary:  Person/s unknown punctured all four tires of a vehicle.

 

7/7       Location:  24000 block of W. Guinevere Lane

            Summary:  Person/s unknown stole three cell phone chargers and a set of Callaway golf clubs from an unlocked vehicle.

 

            Location:  24000 block of W. Lancelot Lane

            Summary:  Person/s unknown entered an unlocked vehicle and stole a stereo, 2 packs of cigarettes and a lighter.

 

            Location:  24000 block of W. Lancelot Lane

            Summary:  Person/s unknown entered an unlocked vehicle and stole a lighter, phone charger, and cash.

 

            Location:  22000 block of S. Merlin Court

            Summary:  Person/s unknown entered an unlocked vehicle and stole a set of Callaway golf clubs.  Offender/s went through a second vehicle but did not steal anything.

 

            Location:  400 block of Krakar

            Summary:  Victim stated upon arriving home he observed his telescope lying in the driveway and his television lying on the back porch.  Person/s unknown broke into the residence and stole a CD player, a 55Ē TV and a computer.  A neighbor reported seeing a small gray or silver car pull into the driveway and thought at the time it belonged there.

 

7/8       Location:  Jacob and Patterson

            Summary:  Terri J. Mutz, age 47, of 1700 Innercircle Drive in Crest Hill was arrested for DUI, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and too fast for conditions.

 

            Location:  S. Larkin, North of Moen

            Summary:  Latoya Moffett, age 29, of 1306 Pico Court in Joliet was cited for driving while license suspended and operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration.

           

            Location:  1300 block of E. Jackson

            Summary:  Isaac Ramirez-Perez, age 27, of 112 Peale in Joliet was arrested for DUI, obstructing justice, possession of cannabis, possession of drug equipment, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and no valid driverís license after he lost control of his vehicle and struck another vehicle that was parked in a driveway.

 

            Location:  1911 Moore Avenue

            Summary:  Yvonne Scott, age 50, of this address, was arrested for aggravated battery and domestic battery after she was in a verbal altercation with her boyfriend and allegedly proceeded to the kitchen, grabbed 4 kitchen knives and systematically threw the knives, one after the other, in the direction of her boyfriend.   The boyfriend received a one inch laceration to his lower back and was treated by East Joliet Fire Department.

 

7/9       Location:  Maple Rd. and Walnut

            Summary:  Garfield W. Love, Sr., age 33, of 454 Douglas in Joliet was cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle, driving while license suspended, and loud muffler.

 

NEW LENOX AND FRANKFORT

 

7/3       Location:  18951 S. Wolf Rd.                        Mokena                       Bernat Landscaping

            Summary:  Person/s unknown stole a white Ford 350 and a bobcat trailer from the parking lot of the business.  The Ford truck had green and white lettering on both sides with the business name on it.

 

Location:  I80 and S. LaGrange

            Summary:  Nicholas Lusson, age 27, of 3138 W. 114th Place in Merrionette Park, IL was cited for driving while license suspended and speeding.

 

 

7/4       Location:  8000 block of Old Mill Rd.                       Frankfort

            Summary:  Person/s unknown entered an unlocked truck and rummaged through it.  Offender/s stole an air pressure vacuum from the bed of the truck.

 

7/6       Location:  S. Harlem and W. Lincoln Highway                     Frankfort

            Summary:  Candace J. Rodriguez, age 18, of 17645 Navajo in Park Forest was arrested for possession of cannabis under 30 grams and speeding.

 

7/8       Location:  7400 block of W. Benton Drive                Frankfort

            Summary:  Person/s unknown threw two landscaping bricks through the rear window of a vehicle.

 

HOMER GLEN

 

7/3       Location:  W. 143rd and S. Bell Road

            Summary:  Brooke Izzo, age 26, of 14929 Glen Crest Lane in Homer Glen was cited for improper lane usage.

 

7/5       Location:  14433 S. Lemont Road                 American Tower

            Summary:  Person/s unknown cut several ground wires and removed them along with four grounding bars. 

 

            Location:  13654 W. 159th                  Abbyís Storage

            Summary:  Person/s unknown broke the window out of a semi-trailer.

 

7/6       Location:  14000 block of S. Wingate

            Summary:  Person/s unknown broke into a residence and stole a 50Ē T.V, 3 laptops, 2 digital cameras, 10 Nintendo DSI games, a duffle bag and several pieces of jewelry.  Video surveillance showed two unknown subjects inside the home.  A neighbor observed a champagne colored SUV back into the garage around 8:30am and leave the garage about 15 minutes later.  Under investigation.

 

7/8       Location:  S. Bell Rd. and W. Woodland

            Summary:  Patrick Sinclair, age 45, of 13030 Morning Glory Court in Homer Glen was arrested for DUI, improper lane usage, and speeding.

 

            Location:  12640 W. 143rd                  White Castle

            Summary:  Trevor D. Proszek, age 21, of 8802 Wheeler Drive in Orland Park was arrested for battery after he approached a 23 year old male, slapped the food out of his hands inside the restaurant and once outside began punching the victim.
