Summary: Person/s unknown stole 2,400 gallons of diesel and gasoline fuel from the business. Loss Value: $12,500.

Summary: Person/s unknown used blue spray paint and painted a stripe from the front bumper to the rear bumper of a vehicle.
6/14 Location: 15744 W. 151st St. Trantina Farms
Summary: An employee of Homer Township Park District stated that upon arrival to do maintenance he discovered a 15x15 screen porch damaged along with all the screens cut. A 20x12 chicken coop was also moved about one foot off its foundation. A well door and lock were broken and feces were spread throughout the inside of the bathroom.

Summary: Nelson Valencia, age 35, of 186 Nanti in Park Forest was cited for driving while license suspended.

Summary: Person/s unknown broke five halogen lights located behind the concession stand.

Summary: Person/s unknown damaged a residential water well by breaking the valve pipe away from the main water pipe.
6/16 Location: 14201 S. Bell Rd. Tobacco City Plus
Summary: Deputies were called to a burglar alarm being activated. The front glass door had been shattered. Upon arrival of the store owner it was discovered that person/s unknown stole 40 cartons of Kool cigarettes ($1960), 40 cartons of Newport cigarettes ($2120), and 20 packs of Newport’s ($98). Store security was being reviewed.

Summary: Emanuel Guerra, age 27, of 8630 Sayre in Burbank, IL was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

Summary: Person/s unknown stole a tan 1996 GMC Safari van from the driveway of a residence. Two hours later it was located by Crest Hill Police undamaged and without the keys.

Summary: Lori Jean Johnson, age 33, of 404 Julia Drive in Romeoville was cited for driving while license revoked and speeding.

Summary: Person/s unknown sliced a vehicle tire and sliced the two front seats on the same vehicle. The doors were left unlocked.

Summary: Person/s unknown entered a Com Ed property and stole 1500 ft. of copper wire from a trough area. A Com Ed employee stated that offender/s would have had to use a sophisticated battery powered hydraulic cutting tool to cut and steal the copper. The work would have taken a couple of hours to complete.

Summary: Person/s unknown stole a black 2004 Harley Davidson Heritage Soft Tail FXSTS from the rear parking lot of the business between 4/1/12 and 6/12/12.

Summary: Alejandro Banda, age 41, of 425 N. Hickory in Joliet was arrested for DUI, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, improper lane usage, failure to signal, and no driver’s license on person.

Summary: Derrick O. Chapman, age 20, of 1322 Englewood Avenue in Joliet was cited for driving while license suspended.
6/14 Location: Green Garden and Princeton
Summary: Victim stated while sitting in her vehicle watching a friend play basketball at AF Hill Park, an unknown male black with a ski-mask approached the vehicle and began shooting a handgun. The victim and friend fled the park in the vehicle. A witness stated that the pastor’s vehicle was struck while parked at Bethlehem Apostolic Church on Princeton. The victim’s vehicle had damage to the driver’s door and the driver’s side back window. No one was injured.
