NEW LENOX AND FRANKFORT
2/8 Location: 2600 block of Walter Drive New Lenox
Summary: Victim received a call from American Eagle Outfitters who informed her of a suspicious purchase totaling $187 on-line. Victim did not make the purchase and later discovered that person/s unknown had also used another credit card to make a $289 unauthorized purchase.
2/9 Location: 215 Ford Drive New Lenox Rt. 66 Motorsports Inc.
Summary: Person/s unknown burglarized three car hauling trailers that were parked in a lot. Stolen from one trailer were a blue 1967 Chevy Chevelle, a red 1970 Chevy Chevelle, and approximately $800 worth of hand tools. (Combined value for both vehicles: $100,000.) The second trailer had the padlock cut off however nothing was stolen. The third trailer had about $200 worth of hand tools stolen.
2/10 Location: Cherry Hill Road and Laraway Road New Lenox
Summary: Dorthea C. Kornaus, age 55, of 5010 W. 118th Street in Alsip was cited for failure to yield at a stop intersection.
Location: 1900 block of Spencer Road New Lenox
Summary: A witness stated that he was in the kitchen area and heard glass breaking outside. Upon investigating, the witness observed a male white, about 6’4” wearing a brown stocking cap and dark clothes, trying to enter a Grand Am thru the driver’s side window. When the witness stepped outside the offender heard the witness and took off running.
2/11 Location: 191st and Harlem Frankfort
Summary: Brittany Green, age 24, of 1056 Richton Place in Richton Park was cited for driving while license suspended, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and operating a vehicle with suspended registration.

Summary: Person/s unknown entered the business and stole a sawzall and a compressor.
2/12 Location: Harlem and Lincoln Highway Frankfort
Summary: Richara J. Jackson, age 21, 4451 W. Washington Blvd. in Chicago was cited for driving while license suspended.
2/14 Location: Benton Drive and Harlem Avenue Frankfort
Summary: Daniel J. Russell, age 22, of 6148 W. 97th in Oak Lawn was cited for speeding and driving while license suspended.
Location: Delaney Road and Schoolhouse Road New Lenox
Summary: Deborah J. Kokel, age 33, of 24721 S. Scheer Road in Green Garden was arrested for improper lane usage and DUI/Drugs, after she entered the oncoming traffic and struck a vehicle head-on.
2/15 Location: 7800 block of Frankfort Square Road Frankfort
Summary: An 86 year old male victim stated that at around 1pm on 2/11 he was in his garage with the overhead door open when he observed a van enter his driveway with two occupants. The driver approached the victim and asked him if he remembered him. The victim stated that he did not. The subject told the victim that he had been doing work in the area and asked if he needed any work done. The victim stated that he had a leak in his foundation and escorted the subject into his basement. The subject turned on the bathroom faucets, which the victim believes he did in order to make noise. The subject then quoted the victim $80 for repairs and when the victim asked for a business card the subject ran out of the bathroom and into his van. The subject was described as 5’3” to 5’6”, Hispanic, about 30 years old, clean shaven, about 160 lbs. USC was stolen from a bedroom.

2/8 Location: 1400 block of Sehring
Summary: Person/s unknown damaged a bedroom window and screen.
Location: Maple and Ridgewood
Summary: Jorge Arroyo, age 28, of 612 Northgate Lane in Shorewood was cited for failure to signal, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving while license suspended.
2/9 Location: 501 Ella Avenue Will County Health Department
Summary: Facility Manager stated person/s unknown tampered with a secured door. Several screws were removed to gain entry into a computer room. No items were stolen.
2/10 Location: Briggs and Washington
Summary: Jasmine J. Moore, age 21, of 503 Florence Avenue in Joliet was arrested for speeding, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, driving while license suspended, and resisting/obstructing a peace officer.

Summary: Demetrius A. Housley, age 44, of 1105 Wescott in Mt. Vernon, IL was cited for driving while license suspended, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, expired registration sticker and driving without lights.
Location: 16000 block of Broadway
Summary: Calvin J. Cureton, age 53, of 1205 McKinley in Joliet was cited for driving while license revoked.
Location: 200 block of Briggs
Summary: At 2:55am, victim looked outside and observed an unknown male sitting in the driver’s seat of his victim’s vehicle. When the victim attempted to confront the individual the individual took off.
2/11 Location: Cass and Herkimer
Summary: Juana G. Hernandez, female, age 56, of 615 Benton Street in Joliet was arrested for possession of controlled substance and possession of drug equipment. Hernandez also had two valid Will County warrants.
2/12 Location: 120 Edison Road
Summary: Derick McGriff, age 48, of this address, was arrested for domestic battery.
Location: 625 Mills Road AZZ Galvanizing
Summary: Employee stated while on break in the lunch room he set his cell phone on a table and forgot it when he returned to work. 30 minutes later he returned to the lunch room and his cell phone was gone.
Location: Cass and Walnut
Summary: Dwayne S. Johnson, age 43, of 601 Garnsey in Joliet was arrested for DUI, DUI over the legal limit and no taillights.

Summary: A window of a residence was broken out.
2/13 Location: Renwick and Weber
Summary: Guillermo Zepeda, age 52, of 93 Iris Circle in Romeoville was cited for driving while license revoked. Zepeda also had one active warrant out of Summit and one out of Davenport, IA.

Summary: Anthony F. Bauer, age 34, of 108 North Avenue in Lockport was arrested for DUI, DUI over the legal limit and improper lane usage.
2/14 Location: 2100 block of Laraway
Summary: Anthony A. Hurley, age 27, of 230 Jan Street in Manhattan was arrested for improper lane usage, illegal transportation of alcohol and DUI and DUI over the legal limit.
WEST TOWNSHIPS
2/8 Location: 24000 block of Fraser Road Plainfield
Summary: Person/s unknown kicked in the service door to a detached garage. The driver’s side door of the vehicle inside was left open. Two boxes of cut meat that were in a freezer in the garage were stolen ($50).
2/10 Location: 2000 block of Caton Farm Road Plainfield
Summary: Person/s unknown damaged an entrance door to a residence. Nothing appeared to be missing.
2/11 Location: 25722 W. Caton Farm Road Plainfield
Summary: Joseph M. Hisel, age 41, of this address, was arrested for domestic battery.
2/13 Location: 21865 W. Juneau Court Plainfield
Summary: Hani H. Hamad, age 38, of this address, was arrested for domestic battery.
2/15 Location: Old Budler Rd. and W. Taylor Road Plainfield
Summary: A witness stated he observed four male black subjects in a red Toyota van parked next to two vehicles in a parking lot. The windows of the two vehicles were found to be broken. One of the vehicles had a hole in the glass that was peeled back to unlock the door. No entry was made.

Summary: Person/s unknown cut wires on a computer harness inside a 1989 MCI Bus/Coach.

2/9 Location: 159th and Cedar Road
Summary: Casimiro Rodriguez, age 36, of 207 Stryker Avenue in Joliet was cited for driving while license suspended.
2/11 Location: 14807 S. Founders Crossing Pelican Harrys
Summary: While in the men’s restroom, person/s unknown stole a Blackberry phone that was setting on a sink.
Location: Bruce Rd. and Cedar
Summary: Randall J. Malak, age 46, of 16853 W. 144th Place in Lockport was cited for driving while license suspended and operating a vehicle with expired registration sticker.
2/12 Location: 12000 block of 184th Place
Summary: A representative from the State Bank of Countryside entered a residence that was the property of the bank and observed the railing and banister on the staircase had been removed, all kitchen appliances, cabinets, island and sinks were missing, all fixtures in the three and a half baths were missing, a whirlpool tub, four toilets, six sinks, bathroom cabinets, shower cabinets and faucet shower heads were missing, light fixtures on the walls and ceilings, all receptacles, and switch boxes in every room and two furnaces and hot water heaters were also missing. Estimated cost of property and damage: +$200,000. The bank had recently received a court order to take possession of the property. Under investigation.

Summary: At 12:30am victim heard a loud bang that woke him up. Upon investigating he observed his living room window had been broken with a brick. The brick was lying on the living room floor.
12/13 Location: 159th and Will Cook Road
Summary: Michael S. Sammon II, age 18, of 7137 W. 85th in Burbank was arrested for failure to dim headlights, improper lane usage, and DUI/Drugs.
LOCKPORT
2/9 Location: 21000 block of Empress Lane Carillon subdivision
Summary: 73 year old female victim stated that approximately three weeks ago she had befriended a woman at the casino boat. The woman visited the victim several times with the most recent day being 2/8/10. After the friend left the victim realized that she could not find an envelope that had USC in it. She also discovered a ring missing and a bracelet.
2/11 Location: Taylor and Weber
Summary: Yvonne P. Merriweather, age 54, of 1107 Elizabeth Court in Crest Hill was cited for speeding and driving while license suspended.
2/13 Location: 525 Barry Avenue Lockport Township Park District
Summary: A burglar alarm was activated at the Fairmont Community Center. Upon arrival deputies observed the doors to be damaged and ajar. Inside three doors were unlocked and the lights were on in two of the rooms. Nothing was damaged or missing from the two rooms, however, in the third room two large batteries were found on the floor that were originally attached to the fire alarm that was attached to the wall. No person/s were found inside and nothing else was damaged.

Summary: Adrean L. Burts, male, age 35, of this address, was arrested for domestic battery.

Summary: Nicholas K. Etheridge, age 20, of 319 W. 16th Street in Chicago Heights was arrested for failure to signal and possession of cannabis over 30 grams (32 grams).
2/10 Location: Exchange and Western University Park
Summary: Cesar Ortiz, age 30, of 16200 Carse in Harvey was cited for no valid registration, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, improper use of registration and no valid driver’s license.
2/12 Location: 3100 block of E. Rana Drive Crete
Summary: Person/s unknown kicked in a garage service door, entered a residence, and stole a 42” TV and two jewelry boxes containing an unknown amount of jewelry.
2/13 Location: Valley View and Western Crete
Summary: Henry L. Jones, age 52, of 7022 S. Morgan in Chicago was cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving while license revoked.
