Summary: Louis A. Smith, age 32, of 758 First in Morris was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after he lost control of his vehicle, it left the roadway, rolled several times and landed in a field. He was transported to Morris Hospital with non life threatening injuries.

Summary: Hugo Miguel-Palacios, age 30, of 376 S. Wall in Kankakee was cited for no valid driver’s license and speeding.

Summary: Person/s unknown entered a vacant house and stole all the copper plumbing throughout, the bathroom fixtures and a bath tub.

Summary: Joseph L. Morris, age 19, of 16 E. 31st in Steger was arrested for consumption of alcohol by a minor and unlawful use of a weapon. Amanda E. Lucas, age 18, of 14429 Hobart in Cedar Lake, IN was cited for no plate light, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and failure to update driver’s license.

Summary: Jeffrey Clements, age 27, of 2904 Vimy Ridge Drive in Joliet was arrested for disobeying a stop sign, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and DUI after he lost control of his vehicle and struck a tree in the parkway. He was transported to the hospital with non life threatening injuries.

Summary: Manager stated as he returned to open the store at 4am he observed that person/s unknown had broken into the office area and stole USC from a safe and three cash register drawers. Under investigation.
