1/23 Location: 2100 block of California Avenue
Summary: An employee for Domino’s Pizza, (571 Collins St. in Joliet) stated that at 9:15pm he was dispatched to deliver a $29 pizza to “John” on the 2100 block of California. Upon arrival at the residence no one answered to accept delivery. The employee called the customer’s phone and the employee was told by an individual that he would be there to get the pizza. Shortly after the call the employee observed three male black’s walking towards him as he sat inside his vehicle. One of the individuals approached his car, asked if he had change for $100 and while the employee took $19.00 out of his pocket the individual grabbed it and the pizza and took off running. The three individuals ran toward the Joliet projects.

Summary: William Houle, age 28, of 21635 W. Grand Avenue in Wilmington was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, improper signal, no driver’s license on person, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

1/25 Location: S. Budler and W. Taylor Rd. Plainfield
Summary: Owner of a 2002 Volvo semi truck arrived at this location and as he was driving his personal vehicle to his truck he observed an unknown male subject running from the driver’s side of his semi. The subject was carrying a truck battery and ran to a green Pontiac Grand Prix. The semi owner pulled his vehicle in front of the Grand Prix but the Grand Prix was able to drive off.

Summary: A male white and female white were seen on video surveillance stealing a roll of copper and leaving the store without paying. Security employees believe that the same subjects had stolen from the store on different occasions and possibly from other Menards locations.

Summary: Employee stated that around 2pm. while he was inside a maintenance building he heard noises and a voice coming from an adjacent room. Upon entering the room he observed an unknown male Hispanic subject in the process of removing a Pro115 space heater from a storage closet. When the unknown subject saw the employee he dropped the heater and ran to a vehicle that was being driving by another unknown Hispanic male.

Summary: Deputies were called around 11:30pm regarding shots fired at a residence. Upon arrival the owner stated that he heard a loud bang and then his 12 year old daughter came running stating that someone had shot a bullet into her bedroom wall. Deputies observed a bullet hole through the bedroom wall about 4ft. above the bed the 12 year old girl was sleeping in.

Summary: Person/s unknown stole about 50 new and used tires from an unsecured tire rack outside the business.
Location: Baskin and Frank Drive
Summary: Edward Sutkus, age 30, of 1416 Pheasant Landing Drive in Plainfield was arrested for criminal trespass to vehicle after deputies were called to the scene and spoke to two witnesses who stated that they observed an individual walking down the street looking into vehicles and then enter a Trail Blazer and rifle through it. Deputies searched the area and questioned Sutkus who was then charged.
