7/19 Location: 7861 W. St. Francis Rd. Frankfort Square Links Golf Course
Summary: Person/s unknown caused damage to two golf carts by hot wiring them in order to drive them around the course. Damage was also done to a pin flag and fencing. One cart was found on its side and both were located at the southeast rear of the course.
7/20 Location: 12000 block of W. Lake View Drive Frankfort
Summary: Person/s unknown removed about 15 landscaping bricks from a retaining wall, emptied three potted plants, and broke a concrete pine cone statue.
Location: 200 block of Roberts Rd. New Lenox
Summary: Deputies were dispatched at about 7:20am and spoke to a victim who stated that she went to her vehicle and put her purse and other bags inside and ran back into her home for about one minute. When she returned she observed an unknown white male, about 17 years old, standing next to the driver’s side door. The subject grabbed her purse and took off running through her backyard. The victim got into her vehicle, tracked the subject down in the 200 block of Terry and ordered him to give back her purse. The offender dropped the purse and took off.

Summary: Benjamin Cash, age 29, of 2211 N. Bogdan Lane in Joliet was cited for driving while license suspended and Amanda Miller, age 19, of 2815 Carol Drive in Joliet was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

Summary: Person/s unknown threw a rock at the windshield of a vehicle causing it to crack and stole five landscaping lights.
7/23 Location: 19651 Beechnut Drive Mokena Arbury Hills School
Summary: Person/s unknown wrote racial slurs on two windows and one door located on the south side of the school.

Summary: Person/s unknown entered an unlocked vehicle and emptied the glove box but did not take anything.

7/18 Location: 34000 block of S. Lakeside Terrace Wilmington
Summary: Person/s unknown broke into a residence and ransacked it. Nothing appeared to be missing.
7/19 Location: 25851 S. Redstone Drive Manhattan
Summary: A 53 year old female stated that at about 10:40am she was standing in her second floor bedroom when the roof caved in and hit her on the head. Moments later she found herself standing amidst a demolished house and her bedroom was near the ground. Two neighbors observed the house explode and collapse and assisted the woman from a four foot pile of rubble. A small fire was observed and within a short time the wind caused the whole house to catch fire. The woman was transported to Silver Cross for non life threatening head and back injuries. The state fire marshal was called to the scene and is investigating the incident.

Summary: Person/s unknown broke the rear sliding window out of a truck.

Summary: Person/s unknown stole about 300ft. of copper wire from the site.

7/17 Location: 2400 block of E. Priscilla Lane Crete
Summary: Victim stated while packing his vehicle for a trip at about 4:20am he placed his wallet inside the console and went back into his residence. When he came outside be observed a male subject standing next to the vehicle and take off with his wallet.
Location: S. Chestnut and S. Wildwood Trail Crete
Summary: Linda Perazzolo, age 54, of 24547 S. Wildwood in Crete was cited for failure to yield right of way after she struck the back end of a bicycle driven by a 55 year old man. The man was transported to St. Margaret Mercy with non life threatening injuries.
7/18 Location: 28000 block of S. South Park Avenue Beecher
Summary: Person/s unknown entered a residence and stole jewelry and a 19” TV.
7/19 Location: 25516 S. LaGrange Rd. Monee US Cellular
Summary: Person/s unknown attempted to steal copper wiring from the site but was unsuccessful.
7/20 Location: 24000 block of S. Walden Lane Crete
Summary: Victim stated that about 10:15am he was in his bedroom when he thought he heard someone inside his residence. Upon checking he discovered that person/s unknown entered his home and stole his laptop.

Summary: Person/s unknown broke out several windows to a residence, punched several holes in the drywall and spray painted the walls with various colors and designs. The house was unoccupied.

Summary: Person/s unknown damaged a shed and stole a weed whacker and two gas cans.

Summary: Person/s unknown entered a 27ft. fishing boat and stole 19 fishing poles, 1 fish finder, and 5 tackle boxes containing lures.

Summary: Person/s unknown broke into a residence and stole a 50” TV, a computer system, .38 handgun, a 47” TV, 5 autographed Chicago Blackhawk jerseys (Roenick, Versteeg, Sharp, Hossa, and Kopeski), 2 Walter Payton jerseys (not autographed), jewelry, and a generator.

Summary: Person/s unknown stole two 2007 golf carts from the northwest storage area.

Summary: Raymundo Medina, age 22, of 4728 Sawyer Avenue in Chicago was cited for no valid driver’s license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

Summary: A male cab driver stated that at about 4am he went inside the station and left his keys in his white and blue 2008 Ford Crown Victoria cab. Ten minutes later, when he went to return to his cab it was gone.

Summary: Person/s unknown entered a residence and stole a laptop.

Summary: Property manager for Habitat for Humanity stated that person/s unknown entered both homes and removed copper piping from the basements.

Summary: Thomas Stewart, Jr., age 29, of 1342 Cardinal Drive in Bourbonnais was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug equipment and speeding.

Summary: Person/s unknown entered an unlocked vehicle and stole $15 and two garage door openers.

Summary: Angeline Bobak, age 73, of 7812 S. Drew Avenue in Burr Ridge was cited for failure to yield turning left.

Summary: Person/s unknown entered the property and stole 45ft. of copper wire and three copper ground bars.
7/18 Location: 12000 block of W. 143rd St.
Summary: Randall Swinney, age 23, of 16612 S. Honore in Markham was arrested for possession of burglary tools, unlawful possession of temporary registration, and obstructing a peace officer. Another subject was also being questioned after deputies observed a vehicle parked next to Smokers Depot and upon speaking to the two subjects observed a pair of gloves and a ski mask in the front seat. Both subjects were wearing dark sweatshirts and sweatpants. The temperature was 80 degrees.

Summary: Maria Diaz, age 35, of this address was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, and aggravated fleeing/eluding a peace officer after a search warrant was executed at her residence by the Will County Gang Suppression Unit.

Summary: Samantha Mikulan, age 21, of 2510 Royal Troon Drive in Aurora was arrested for fraud after a drug tester observed her extract a plastic baggie with a yellow liquid in it from her person.

Summary: Person/s unknown stole a bag containing a laptop, flash drive, phone charger and 8 $50 gift cards. Victim stated he set his bag outside and returned inside his residence for a few minutes. When he returned outside it was gone.
