Summary: Employee of Future Environmental of Mokena stated person/s unknown entered his job site and stole 400ft. of 8 gauge copper wire.
7/4 Location: 105 Earl Bonnie Brae Sanitary Station
Summary: Person/s unknown damaged the side window of a John Deere tractor.

Summary: Person/s unknown stole a toolbox containing $200 worth of tools from his back porch.
7/7 Location: 19000 block of W. Jacquie Avenue
Summary: Person/s unknown entered a residence and detached garage and stole a cell phone, charger, headphones and a pack of cigarettes.
7/8 Location: 100 block of Princeton
Summary: Person/s unknown shot several bullets into a residence and a vehicle. Deputies observed 5 holes on the east exterior of the home, 11 on the front exterior, 1 in the door jam, 1 in the front window and 5 in the windshield of the vehicle. The resident was not home at the time of the shooting.

Summary: Robert E. Mason, age 48, of 27460 S. Crawford Avenue in Monee was cited for driving while license suspended and obstructed windshield.

Summary: Person/s unknown stole a rear tire and rim from a Dodge Neon. The vehicle was resting on three bricks that did not belong to the vehicle owner.

Summary: Person/s unknown broke into an attached garage and stole a garden cultivator and a chainsaw.

Summary: Alesha R. Smith, age 21, of 14510 Shepard Drive in Dolton, IL was cited for no valid driver’s license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
7/4 Location: W. Exchange and S. Western Avenue University park
Summary: Antonio Graves, age 26, of 1938 Yale Avenue in Chicago Heights was cited for speeding and driving while license suspended.

Summary: Person/s unknown entered the tower property and stole two copper buss bars from the exterior of the building.

Summary: Person/s unknown broke into a residence and stole 200 bottles of alcohol, numerous tools, several guns, several TV’s, and several stereos. Offender/s also stole a 2004 Chrysler Town and Country mini-van from the driveway.
7/7 Location: 24000 block of S. State Line Road Crete
Summary: Person/s unknown stole a copper lawn archway (13ft. tall by 7ft. wide) from the yard of a residence.
Location: 29000 block of S. Stoney Island Beecher
Summary: Efrain Barajas, age 31, of 9747 S. Avenue H in Chicago was arrested for reckless discharge of a firearm, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and no FOID card, after deputies were called to a loud music complaint. Upon arrival a deputy observed several vehicles with approximately 150 to 200 people in the backyard of a residence. While standing near the driveway he observed Barajas, his wife, and three small children walk to an SUV, place the children in the vehicle, and then pointed a firearm into the air and discharge it five times. Barajas and his wife were ordered to the ground by the deputy and he took possession of the Colt .38 Super Series 80 firearm. Additional deputies arrived on the scene and Barajas was arrested and taken into custody.

Summary: Mark C. Heggie, age 31, of 19515 W. Goodwin Rd. in Wilmington was cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and no valid registration.

Summary: Domingo Zarate, age 46, of 500 Chase Avenue in Joliet was cited for no valid driver’s license, improper lane usage, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
7/6 Location: Remington and N. Weber Rd. DuPage
Summary: Fernando Campuzano, age 27, of 190 Beacon Ridge Drive in Bolingbrook was cited for no valid driver’s license and improper lighting.

7/2 Location: Canal Road and W. Shepley Rd. Channahon
Summary: Two male victims, ages 24 and 27, stated that they parked a Pontiac convertible Sunbird at the intersection of Canal and Shepley so they could go swimming in the river. Upon returning to the vehicle both victim’s discovered their wallets were missing. Both wallets contained credit cards; one had $30 and the other had $8.

Summary: Courtney E. Smith, age 19, of 1328 Pequot in Joliet was arrested for aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, possession of a stolen firearm, and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.

Person/s unknown broke into the residence and stole a CD player, a 55” TV and a computer. A neighbor reported seeing a small gray or silver car pull into the driveway and thought at the time it belonged there.

Summary: Isaac Ramirez-Perez, age 27, of 112 Peale in Joliet was arrested for DUI, obstructing justice, possession of cannabis, possession of drug equipment, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and no valid driver’s license after he lost control of his vehicle and struck another vehicle that was parked in a driveway.

Summary: Yvonne Scott, age 50, of this address, was arrested for aggravated battery and domestic battery after she was in a verbal altercation with her boyfriend and allegedly proceeded to the kitchen, grabbed 4 kitchen knives and systematically threw the knives, one after the other, in the direction of her boyfriend. The boyfriend received a one inch laceration to his lower back and was treated by East Joliet Fire Department.

Summary: Person/s unknown stole a white Ford 350 and a bobcat trailer from the parking lot of the business. The Ford truck had green and white lettering on both sides with the business name on it.

Summary: Person/s unknown entered an unlocked truck and rummaged through it. Offender/s stole an air pressure vacuum from the bed of the truck.

Summary: Candace J. Rodriguez, age 18, of 17645 Navajo in Park Forest was arrested for possession of cannabis under 30 grams and speeding.

7/3 Location: W. 143rd and S. Bell Road
Summary: Brooke Izzo, age 26, of 14929 Glen Crest Lane in Homer Glen was cited for improper lane usage.
7/5 Location: 14433 S. Lemont Road American Tower
Summary: Person/s unknown cut several ground wires and removed them along with four grounding bars.

Summary: Person/s unknown broke the window out of a semi-trailer.
7/6 Location: 14000 block of S. Wingate
Summary: Person/s unknown broke into a residence and stole a 50” T.V, 3 laptops, 2 digital cameras, 10 Nintendo DSI games, a duffle bag and several pieces of jewelry. Video surveillance showed two unknown subjects inside the home. A neighbor observed a champagne colored SUV back into the garage around 8:30am and leave the garage about 15 minutes later. Under investigation.

Summary: Patrick Sinclair, age 45, of 13030 Morning Glory Court in Homer Glen was arrested for DUI, improper lane usage, and speeding.
Location: 12640 W. 143rd White Castle
Summary: Trevor D. Proszek, age 21, of 8802 Wheeler Drive in Orland Park was arrested for battery after he approached a 23 year old male, slapped the food out of his hands inside the restaurant and once outside began punching the victim.
