Summary: Jose Y. Martinez, age 42, of 226 Dorsetshire Drive in Steger was cited for no valid registration, no valid driver’s license, and no valid safety test sticker.
6/25 Location: 199 E. Burville Rd. Crete J&B Forklift
Summary: Person/s unknown entered the storage yard and stole three fork lift engines and a transmission.

Summary: Person/s unknown cut and stole approximately 120ft. of copper cable. Valued loss: $1000

Summary: Susan P. Brown-Barber, age 83, of 129 Wilson in Park Forest was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after she was distracted, lost control of her vehicle, and ended up in a bean field. She was transported to Riverside Hospital with back pain.
6/21 Location: W. Arsenal Rd. and S. Baseline Rd. Jackson
Summary: Joaquin Brown, age 45, of 7325 Jarnecke in Hammond, IN was cited for driving while license suspended.
6/22 Location: 19733 W. Bauer Road Wilmington Realms of Ruins
Summary: Deputies responded around 8pm to a shots fired call from a resident in the Irish Lane/Bauer Road area. The resident reported that he had heard what sounded like automatic gun fire and that he and other neighbors were concerned. Deputies then located to Realms of Ruins and spoke with an employee who stated there was no gun range in the Paintball Park and that he also had heard the gunshots. Deputies then were directed about 1 mile south of the paintball park, through heavy brush, in an area surrounded by pine trees, where they located an old Lincoln Town Car with what appeared to be thousands of bullet holes in it. No subjects were found in the area. Deputies were investigating who the property owner was at the time of report.
6/23 Location: 24001 W. Lorenzo Rd. River Restaurant Wilmington
Summary: Bartender stated that about 11:25pm two unknown female whites and three unknown male whites arrived at the bar and ordered five shots and a pitcher of beer. The bartender served the five shots and when she turned her back to pour the pitcher of beer the subjects fled the bar without paying. They entered a black SUV and took off.
6/24 Location: 5500 block of W. Peotone-Beecher Rd. Peotone
Summary: Person/s unknown smashed the window of a work truck. Nothing was stolen from inside.

6/18 Location: 1600 block of Middletree Rd.
Summary: Victim stated that on 6/13/12, person/s unknown stole her lawn furniture set.

Summary: Person/s unknown entered a vehicle and stole a 12” flip TV and an IPod.
6/19 Location: 1400 block of Rickey Drive
Summary: Person/s unknown broke into a residence and stole a Playstation III, a 32” TV, and several video games.
Location: 517 Moen Avenue Rockdale
Summary: Jessie Deshawn Gray, age 27, of this address, was arrested for unlawful use/possession of a weapon by a felon.
Location: N. Chicago and Ohio
Summary: Jose A. Ortiz-Magana, age 41, of 761 N. Bluff in Joliet was cited for disobeying a stop sign and no driver’s license on person.
6/20 Location: 1700 E. Washington Gyro Shack
Summary: Nicholas J. Strickland, age 19, of 2219 W. Jefferson in Joliet was arrested for criminal damage to property and unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor after it was reported to deputies that a subject was seen attempting to gain entry to the rear door of the Gyro Shack. Deputies picked Strickland up on Peale Street and he stated that he had bought a sandwich from 7-11 and then decided he wanted a bag of chips.

Summary: Jose A. Medina, age 36, of 604 Garnsey Avenue in Joliet was arrested for speeding and DUI.

Summary: Rashonda L. Waters, age 21, of 135 Fairmont Avenue in Lockport was cited for driving while license suspended.
6/21 Location: 328 Patterson Rd. A Affordable Auto Parts
Summary: Owner stated while on-line looking at the Craig’s List site he observed two carburetors that resembled two that had been stolen off of his demolition derby cars on 6/8/12. Under investigation.
6/22 Location: N. Briggs and Maple Rd.
Summary: Zandrea Q. Norris, age 19, of 410 Strong Avenue in Joliet was cited for driving while license suspended, expired registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

Summary: Person/s unknown stole a tan 2005 Hyundai Elantra from the owner’s driveway.

Summary: Sean P. Blair, age 26, of 2 Greenwood Court in Grant Park, IL was arrested for fraud after he was observed attempting to use a ‘whizanator’ to defraud a drug test.

Summary: Melvin L. Caffey, age 46, of 1020 E. Jackson in Joliet was arrested for criminal trespass to state supported land after it was reported to security that he was intoxicated, panhandling and acting hostile toward citizens who were entering the courthouse. Security staff instructed Caffey to leave the property and when he returned an hour and a half later he was arrested.

Summary: Octavia Bass, age 27, of 230 Fairbanks Avenue in Joliet was cited for no valid driver’s license, failure to signal, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

Summary: Efren Hernandez, age 26, of 619 Meeker Avenue in Joliet was arrested for DUI, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, driving while license suspended, and speeding. He was also held on an active Will County FTA warrant.

Summary: Omar Villa, age 23, of 1393 S. Glen Circle in Aurora was cited for disregarding a stop sign, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, operating vehicle with expired registration, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
6/21 Location: 31W331 Schoger Drive Wheatland Trinity Compaction
Summary: Person/s unknown stole two 100ft. spools of 1” copper wire from inside an unsecured cargo bed of a pick-up truck.
Location: 13000 block of S. Oakdale Ct. Plainfield
Summary: Victim stated she was expecting a delivery of two boxes of wax bars from UPS. When the boxes did not arrive she contacted UPS and they advised that they had delivered the boxes to her front door the previous day.
6/22 Location: 12300 S. New Avenue DuPage Warehouse on Wheels
Summary: Person/s unknown removed 55 aluminum concrete forms from an open trailer.
6/23 Location: 24000 block of W. Brancaster Drive Wheatland
Summary: Person/s unknown broke into a residence and stole $40 and an IPad.
