1/19 Location: 15000 block of W. 163rd
Summary: Person/s unknown entered a residence and stole a laptop from the kitchen counter.
Location: Oakwood and Parker
Summary: Patrick D. Holley, age 28, of 562 Vanderbilt Drive in New Lenox was cited for driving while license suspended.
1/22 Location: Bell and Meadowview
Summary: Kenneth Boruta, age 20, of 16356 Downing St. in Lockport was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after he rear-ended a vehicle that was stopped at a light.
Location: 17000 block of Marti Road
Summary: Person/s unknown stole a red 1998 GMC Sierra pick-up truck from the property of a residence. Victim informed deputies that when they arrived on his property they had passed a blue GMC Sierra pick-up that he had never seen before. Deputies located the blue GMC and noticed the truck to be unoccupied, running, with the windows down. The steering column had also been peeled. Upon investigating they were informed that the vehicle had been reported stolen out of Indiana. Under investigation by Tri-County Auto Task Force.

Summary: Person/s unknown broke out the back window of a vehicle.
1/25 Location: Dublin and Parker
Summary: Eleazar Bonilla, age 36, male, of 3044 S. Karlov in Chicago was cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and no valid driver’s license.

1/19 Location: Larkin and McDonough
Summary: Lisa Vallee, age 26, of 3614 177th Place in Lansing, IL was cited for driving while license revoked.
1/20 Location: 1822 E. Washington Ingalls Park Liquors
Summary: Randy Lee Ristau, age 23, of 116 SE Circle Drive in Joliet was arrested for burglary after he allegedly smashed in the front door glass with a rock, entered the building, and stole a pack of Swisher Sweets and two bottles of Wild Turkey whiskey. Ristau was seen on video surveillance and was identified.
Location: 3rd and Anderson
Summary: Amauri Gomez-Sanchez, age 19, of 126 W. Elizabeth in Addison, IL was cited for disregarding a stop sign, no valid driver’s license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Lizeaux Davis, age 19, male, of 236 Alder Creek Drive in Romeoville was held on an active warrant out of DuPage County.
1/21 Location: Briggs and Cass
Summary: Alejandro Contreras, age 19, of 16976 O’Brien Road in Minooka was arrested for speeding, DUI, DUI over the legal limit, unlawful use of a driver’s license, underage consumption of alcohol and resisting/obstructing a peace officer.
Location: 300 block of Stevens Avenue
Summary: A witness notified a homeowner that they observed a man whom she knew, climbing thru a window of her home. The home is currently vacant. Deputies were looking for the subject.
1/22 Location: Jefferson @ Infantry
Summary: Ghassan Hanna, age 38, of 25312 W. Glen Oaks Lane in Shorewood was arrested for speeding and DUI.
Location: 100 block of Bradford Road
Summary: Between 1/8 and 1/22, person/s unknown removed a Sig Sauer, .357 caliber handgun from a bedroom. ($950) The victim was renting a room from a friend where guests visit frequently.
1/23 Location: 1300 block of Pawnee Street
Summary: Dennis Moore, age 42, of 1303 Pawnee Street in Joliet, was arrested for armed robbery. Clarence E. Knight III, age 17, of 410 E. Bellarmine Drive in Joliet and Eric C. Peterson, age 20, of 503 Florence Avenue in Joliet were arrested for armed robbery and resisting a peace officer. A 15 year old male, resident of Joliet, was also arrested for armed robbery. While a victim and four of his friends arrived at a residence in order to receive $800 from Moore for the purchase of a 52” flat screen TV. Moore, Knight, Peterson and the juvenile offender exited a garage with bats and metal pipes and approached the vehicle in an aggressive manner. The victims exited the vehicle and took off running, while the offenders stole a 26” TV and a car stereo from the trunk of the victims’ vehicle.

Summary: Person/s unknown punctured two tires on a vehicle.
Location: 1400 block of 5th Avenue
Summary: Person/s unknown stole a 2006 Chevy Equinox while it sat parked in a driveway. Victim stated she mistakenly left the vehicle unlocked with the keys in the center console.
Location: Ann and Black Road
Summary: Jessica Heinen, age 21, of 500 Kungs Way in Joliet was arrested for speeding, DUI, and DUI over the legal limit.
1/24 Location: 2nd and Briggs
Summary: Brian R. Stroube, age 55, of 720 Reef Road in Lockport was cited for improper passing.
Location: 100 block of Girard
Summary: Person/s unknown entered a residence and stole a computer, CD’s, a bottle of Jack Daniels, and a bottle of Crown Royal.
WEST TOWNSHIPS
1/21 Location: 12300 S. New Avenue DuPage BMAJ Corp
Summary: Victim stated he picked up a load from Tiger Direct with his semi trailer on 1/20 and when he returned to his truck on 1/21 be noticed the back door of the trailer was open and four pallets of unknown merchandise were missing.
SOUTH TOWNSHIPS
1/23 Location: Coal City and Rt. 129 Braidwood
Summary: John R. Andrews, age 39, of 165 E. Division Street in Coal City was cited for driving while license expired, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and operating vehicle with suspended registration.
EAST TOWNSHIPS
1/20 Location: 2800 block of Steger Road Crete
Summary: Person/s unknown stole six semi trailer brake drums ($60), and a semi trailer drive shaft ($300). A witness stated that they saw a red and white ford F-150 pick hauling items in the Chicago Heights area. The victim called Gaby’s Iron and Metal Company in Chicago Heights and spoke to an employee who stated that a male and female subject came in and scrapped brake drums and a drive shaft. The victim is pursuing a complaint.

Summary: Adam Bruce, age 44, of 683 Cassandra in University Park was cited for driving with expired license. Bruce also had an active FTA warrant out of Cook County.
1/22 Location: 3400 block of Exchange Crete
Summary: A woman discovered that person/s unknown had entered a barn where she boards her horse and stole a pick ax ($30), a 3ft. crow bar ($40), bolt cutter ($40), a tack box ($100), storage box ($30) and an air compressor ($350).

1/19 Location: Harlem and Lincoln Highway Frankfort
Summary: Jorge N. Alcala, age 28, of 34 E. 23rd Street in Chicago Heights was cited for driving while license suspended, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and suspended registration.
1/20 Location: Harlem and Lincoln Highway Frankfort
Summary: Joseph D. Joyner, age 18, of 705 Spring Court in University Park was charged with possession of cannabis under 30 grams, failure to dim headlights and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
1/21 Location: LaGrange and Laraway Frankfort
Summary: Estella Bradley, age 41, of 1995 Water Chase Drive in New Lenox was cited for driving without headlights, suspended registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
1/23 Location: Rt. 6 and Parker New Lenox
Summary: Keith Richards Daniels, age 24, of 1503 N. Center in Joliet was cited for driving while license suspended and no rear registration plate light.

Summary: Between 12 and 12:30pm, person/s unknown entered a vehicle that was in the school parking lot and stole a purse.
Location: Benton and Frankfort Square Road Frankfort
Summary: Daniel A. Figueroa, age 19, of 20761 Birchwood Lane in Frankfort was arrested for possession of cannabis under 30 grams and possession of drug equipment.
LOCKPORT
1/20 Location: 100 block of Dellwood
Summary: Between 12/20 and 1/20, person/s unknown broke into a residence that was being remodeled. Nothing was stolen.
1/21 Location: 3100 block of S. State
Summary: person/s unknown punctured all four tires on a 1999 Hyundai and one tire on a minivan that were parked in a residence driveway.
