EAST TOWNSHIPS
12/21 Location: I57 and Wilmington Road Peotone
Summary: Edward N. Nagel, age 58, of 9205 W. Pauling Road in Monee was cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
Location: 26900 S. Will Center Road Monee
Summary: Contractor for Trinity Evangelical Christian Church stated that person/s unknown stole 300 gallons of diesel fuel from construction equipment on the job site. The fuel was siphoned out of the equipment.
Approximately value: $900.
12/22 Location: 3200 block of Brunswick Rd. Washington
Summary: Person/s unknown entered a storage shed and removed two flooring nailers and a compound hunting bow.
Location: 2000 block of W. Exchange Crete
Summary: 47 year old female victim reported that between 8:15am and 8:40pm, while she was in the shower, person/s unknown entered her residence thru the back door and removed her purse from the kitchen counter. Footprints were observed around the perimeter of the house but not observed on the floor inside the house.
12/24 Location: Exchange and Burville Crete
Summary: Bassam Jawdat, age 24, of 24814 S. Willow Brook Trail in Crete was cited for driving while license suspended.
12/25 Location: Arlington and Dixie Highway Crete
Summary: James D. Coulter, age 47, of 528 E. 6th St. in Momence was cited for too fast for conditions after he approached a curve in the roadway and began sliding on the ice when he struck a Ford Focus and then a Nissan Pathfinder. Coulter and his two passengers were not injured nor was the driver of the Ford; however the passenger in the Ford Focus was transported to St. James Hospital for treatment to her neck and back. Ashley Lecuyer-Paquette, age 21, of Bradley was listed in good condition. Driver of the Nissan was not injured.
12/26 Location: 24000 block of S. Plum Valley Drive Crete
Summary: Person/s unknown forced their way into a tool shed and stole $2,400 worth of miscellaneous tools.
12/27 Location: 26000 block of S. 88th Avenue Green Garden
Summary: Jeffrey R. Raymond, age 18, of Peotone was transported to St. James Olympia Fields for precautionary reasons after he flipped his Ford F-250 truck and landed in a ditch on the vehicles roof. Raymond’s vehicle began to fish-tail on the ice and snow, at which time he lost control.
WEST TOWNSHIPS
12/21 Location: 15000 block of Michael Drive Plainfield
Summary: Victim received a package from Sprint that was addressed to her using a previous name that she had not used in over 13 years. Upon speaking to the fraud department it was learned that person/s unknown opened five phone line accounts using victim’s old name on 12/18/09.
Location: 23624 W. Wilkins Lane Plainfield
Summary: Sean T. Walsh, age 19, of this address, was arrested for motor vehicle theft.
12/23 Location: 24000 block of W. Woodhall Court Wheatland
Summary: Person/s unknown entered an unlocked vehicle and stole an Ipod and a pair of ski gloves.
12/27 Location: 16000 block of S. Harmony Drive Plainfield
Summary: At about 3:30am victim heard the alarm go off on her Hummer. Upon investigating the victim observed that person/s unknown used a pellet gun and shattered the driver’s side window.
LOCKPORT
12/21 Location: 1 9 W. 9th Street Concrete Exchange
Summary: Owner stated person/s unknown entered his property on foot and stole about $5,000 (370ft) of copper cable wire from various construction vehicles. Owner observed multiple footprints in the snow and wheelbarrow tracks where it appeared the offender/s exited with the cable near the railroad tracks.
12/22 Location: 151st and Gougar
Summary: At 8:30 a.m. deputies were flagged down by a farmer who stated that person/s unknown riding ATV’s had damaged several bean fields. Estimated damage: $2800.

Summary: Ryane N. Lange, female, age 27, of this address, was arrested for domestic battery.
12/26 Location: 400 block of Dellwood Avenue
Summary: A witness reported four unknown persons in a gray Buick driving down Dellwood Avenue. One of the individuals was firing several gunshots into the air. One victim reported a bullet struck his house causing damage to the outside.
HOMER GLEN
12/21 Location: 143rd and Bell Road
Summary: James J. Adamek, Jr., age 53, of 10720 Mary Lane in Mokena was cited for driving while license suspended.
Location: 16094 S. Stonebridge Drive
Summary: Between 12/1 and 12/20, person/s unknown entered a newly constructed home that was unoccupied and stole two furnaces, two air conditioning units and a central vacuum system.
Location: 15000 block of W. Pantigo
Summary: Person/s unknown entered a work van and stole several power tools.
12/22 Location: Choctaw and S. Parker Road
Summary: Brett M. Ballweber, age 19, of 13612 Kickapoo Trail in Homer Glen was arrested for DUI, zero tolerance, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and driving too fast for conditions.
12/25 Location: 151st and Bell Road
Summary: Tonya J. Sandoval, age 18, of 611 N. Roberta Avenue in Northlake, IL was cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving while license suspended.
12/26 Location: 13000 block of W. Cedar Bend Drive
Summary: Person/s unknown broke into two unlocked vehicles that were parked in the owner’s driveway. Stolen from the Ford: radio faceplate, hammer, raincoat, speaker and auto amplifier. Stolen from the Toyota: GPS unit, marine watch, 10 DVD’s, miscellaneous jewelry, broken laptop, 2 Nintendo DS gaming systems, two hockey sticks and a pair of hockey skates.
12/27 Location: 18000 block of W. Hunt Club Drive
Summary: Person/s unknown scratched up two vehicles using an unknown object.
Location: 13000 block of W. Little Creek Drive
Summary: Person/s unknown damaged a wood mailbox.
Location: 16000 block of s. Windsor Court
Summary: Person/s unknown used a blunt object to smash out the passenger side window of a vehicle. The offender/s then stole a GPS unit.
Location: Syd Creek and Park Place
Summary: Thomas B. Canning, age 18, of 13547 Navajo Trail in Homer Glen was charged with reckless driving.
Location: 12622 W. 159th Street Cool River Bar and Grill
Summary: Employee stated that he had parked his vehicle on the west parking lot. Person/s unknown struck his vehicle causing severe damage to the front end hood. Deputies observed a pile of unmelted road salt on the front bumper that most likely could not have accumulated from driving.
JOLIET
12/21 Location: 1500 block of S. Chicago
Summary: The back door of a trailer home was kicked in by unknown person/s. It was not clear if anything was missing at time of report.
12/22 Location: Kenmore Avenue and Washington
Summary: James L. Colegrove Jr., age 28, of 33 NE Circle in Joliet was cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving while license suspended.
12/23 Location: 1300 block of Ridgewood
Summary: Person/s unknown broke a second floor window and a main floor window of a residence.
Location: 13000 block of Ridgewood
Summary: At about 3:48am, person/s unknown threw a rock thru a bedroom window. Witness observed a male, about 5’5”, wearing all black and carrying a shovel leaving the scene and then standing near the witnesses’ vehicle. Upon further inspection the witness discovered that the rear window of the vehicle had been broken out as well.
Location: 300 block of Thayer Avenue
Summary: At 3:00 am victim heard glass breaking and upon investigating found two windows in the residence to be broken by unknown object.
12/24 Location: 1700 block of Houston Avenue
Summary: At 11:00pm victim left Third Base bar with two female acquaintances and returned to his residence with them. The victim entered the bedroom with one of the females and a short time later the other female knocked on the door and asked to enter. Upon opening the door two male black subjects, with their faces covered, entered the bedroom, pointed two semi automatic handguns at the victim and instructed him to lie on the floor and struck him in the eye with the bottom of the gun. The offenders stole the victims’ wallet, cell phone and a set of keys belonging to the victims’ residence and vehicle. The victim lay on the floor until he no longer heard the offenders. The two male offenders, and the two females, fled the residence.

Summary: Joanne Gutierrez, age 44, of 19 N. Hickory in Joliet was charged with no headlights, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, driving on a suspended license and resisting a peace officer. Gutierrez also had a valid Will County warrant for suspended license.
Location: 1015 Deep Haven Drive
Summary: Fernando G. Rosas, age 21, of this address, was arrested for resisting/obstructing a peace officer, domestic battery and aggravated battery. Rosas also had an active FTA warrant out of Will County for domestic battery.
12/25 Location: 1600 block of Cass
Summary: Brandon K. Jordan, age 28, of 1428 Fairmont Avenue in Joliet was arrested for DUI, DUI over the legal limit.
Location: 4 Davison
Summary: Roman Cruz, age 28, of 4 Davison in Joliet was arrested for domestic battery and had a valid FTA warrant out of Will County for domestic battery.
12/27 Location: Walnut and Sterling
Summary: Armando a. Padilla, age 25, of 1941 Brimstone in Romeoville was cited for no front registration plate and driving while license suspended.
Location: Plainfield and Theodore
Summary: Jaime Ortiz, age 24, of 701 Ingalls in Joliet was arrested for DUI, DUI/Drugs, improper lighting, failure to dim headlights and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
FRANKFORT AND NEW LENOX
12/21 Location: Laraway and Spencer New Lenox
Summary: Elisa r. Mendez, age 32, of 1214 Timber Place in New Lenox was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and no insurance on her person, after she was westbound on Laraway Rd. driving on snow covered roads, when she lost control of her vehicle, left the roadway, collided with a utility pole and then crashed into a fence. Mendez was transported to Silver Cross to be treated for hitting her head on the window during the collision.
Location: 7818 W. Lincoln Highway All Star Bar and Grill Frankfort
Summary: At about 7:30pm employee heard a loud noise at the north entrance of the bar. He then observed the glass door had been shattered and a window on the south side of the building had also been broken.
12/22 Location: Maple Road and Parker New Lenox
Summary: Harolclas Silionokas, age 36, of 16440 S. Newcastle Way in Lockport was arrested for DUI, and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
Location: 7740 W. Douglas Court Frankfort
Summary: Lehman e. Tidwell, age 57, of this address, was arrested for domestic battery.
12/23 Location: 20130 S. Rosewood Drive Mary Drew Elementary School Frankfort
Summary: Between 12/11 and 12/14, person/s unknown stole six letters from the school name on the front of the school. The ‘a’ was stolen from “Mary” – the letters l, e, m, and t, were stolen from the word “Elementary”.
Location: 8000 block of W. Hill Avenue Frankfort
Summary: Victim stated person/s unknown entered her bedroom and stole over $4500 worth of jewelry. Victim is working with deputies on a possible suspect. Under investigation.
Location: 300 block of Carol Road New Lenox
Summary: Victim alleged that he observed a New Lenox Township Highway Dept. snow plow strike his mailbox and continue driving without stopping. The victim also stated that he had to call the highway department to plow his street and an argument ensued between the victim and an employee prior to the mailbox being knocked down by the plow.
Location: 20000 block of Countryside Lane Frankfort
Summary: Between 12/18 and 12/23 person/s unknown entered a Ford F150 and forced open the truck mounted Kobalt tool box. Once inside the offender/s stole a tool bag containing electrician tools and power tools owned by the victims’ employer.
