FRANKFORT AND NEW LENOX

 

11/24   Location:  19000 block of Gray Lane              Frankfort

            Summary:  Person/s unknown entered an unlocked vehicle and stole a GPS unit and a wallet.

 

            Location:  200 block of Redwood Avenue      New Lenox

            Summary:  Person/s unknown drove into two mailboxes causing them to be smashed on the roadway.

 

            Location:  W. Francis and S. Schoolhouse       New Lenox

            Summary:  Michael L. Wolniakowski, age 37, of 16601 Liberty Circle in Orland Park was cited for driving while license suspended, operating a motor vehicle without insurance.

 

11/25   Location:  7218 W. Lincoln Highway              Frankfort                     Speedway Gas

            Summary:  Manager stated at 8:50pm a black male subject wearing a black hoodie entered the store and stole a carton of Extenze pills.  A carton contains 10 packets – valued at $69.90 total.

 

11/28   Location:  100 block of Terry Ellen Lane and Laura Lane      New Lenox

            Summary:  Person/s unknown spray painted obscene language on eight buildings along these streets.  One victim stated that she found her decorative snowman damaged in her front lawn.

 

11/29   Location:  S. Harlem and W. Lincoln Highway                        Frankfort

            Summary:  Eric R. Mason, age 20, of 5615 Amherst Place in Matteson was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs and driving with one headlight.

 

            Location:  7905 W. Lincoln Highway  Frankfort                     Club 30 West/The Local Bar & Grill

            Summary:   The victim, a 33 year old man from Hometown, IL stated that he witnessed a fight break out between two groups of people around 2:40 am.  One of the offenders intentionally through a beer bottle at him, believing the victim was a member of the opposing group.  The bottle struck the victim in the head causing a laceration above his eyebrow.  A witness and the owner verified the incident.  The victim was transported to St. James Olympia Fields by Frankfort Fire for stitches.

 

HOMER GLEN

 

11/24   Location:  12000 block of W. Hank Court

            Summary:  Person/s unknown broke a side view mirror and dented a side door with an unknown object of a 2008 Hyundai Sonata.

 

            Location:  17000 block of S. Crystal Lake Drive

            Summary:  On 11/8, person/s unknown obtained personal identifiers and opened four credit card accounts in a victims’ name.  The four cards were to Best Buy, Kohl’s, Carson’s and Sears and the charged were in excess of $6,000.

 

11/27   Location:  12224 Lakeview Trail

            Summary:  Maximillion Kalemba, age 17, of this address, was arrested for aggravated assault.

 

            Location:  15301 S. Bell Road             Elite Fitness

            Summary:  At about 11:30am an employee placed her Blackberry on a ledge near the skating rink.  An hour later when she went to retrieve it, it was gone.

 

            Location:  12000 block of Meadowland Drive

            Summary:  Person/s unknown entered an unlocked vehicle and stole an Olympus camera.

 

11/28   Location:  13956 S. Bell Road             Menards

            Summary:  An employee stated between 4pm and 11:30pm, person/s unknown punctured three tires on her vehicle while it was in the parking lot.

 

            Location:  13000 block of W. Meath Drive

            Summary:  Person/s unknown stole a lighted reindeer Christmas decoration from the front yard of a residence.  (Valued at $70).

 

            Location:  12224 Lakeview Trail

            Summary:  Maximillion Kalemba, age 17, of this address, was arrested for possession of controlled substance, possession of hypodermic syringe, possession of drug equipment and robbery.

 

            Location:  15000 block of W. Thornwood Lane

            Summary:  Person/s unknown removed four rims and tires from a 2001 Audi S4 that was parked in the owner’s driveway.  The Audi was propped up on landscaping paver stones which the victim did not own.   (Value:  $2100)

 

11/29   Location:  14945 S. Founders Crossing                       Litsa Lounge

            Summary:  At about 2:35am someone stole a purse from a counter.  The purse contained a cell phone, $50 USC, keys and a checkbook.

 

WEST TOWNSHIPS

 

11/27   Location:  2399 Gaylord Road                        Plainfield

            Summary:  At 10pm a victim observed five males wearing all black near her vehicle.  As she approached them they left the area on foot.  She then observed that the driver’s side and passenger side mirrors had been removed.

 

11/28   Location:  2400 block of Grape                       Plainfield

            Summary:  After returning home from work victim discovered that someone entered her residence and stole a laptop computer, a green envelope containing $80 and a gift card.  The victim believes the intruder to be an acquaintance because her three dogs allowed them into the house.

 

11/29   Location:  S. County Line Road and Rt. 126               Plainfield

            Summary:  Katelynne M. Brdlik, age 17, of 711 Joanne Drive in Minooka was cited for improper overtaking on the left same direction after she attempted to pass a vehicle, failed to do so, maneuvered her vehicle towards the opposing shoulder and struck the front end of an oncoming vehicle.  Brdlik, along with her 17 year old female passenger, and the driver of the vehicle that was struck, were all transported to Provena St. Joe’s with non-life threatening injuries.

 

LOCKPORT

 

11/27   Location:  400 block of Dellwood Avenue

            Summary:  A 41 year old male victim stated that on the evening of 11/25 he allowed an unknown male/black to borrow his 1994 Buick Skylark.  The unknown offender stated to the victim that he knew one of the victim’s relatives and would return soon with the car.  The victim stated that he was intoxicated when he handed the keys over to the unknown offender and has not seen the offender nor the vehicle since.

 

JOLIET

 

11/24   Location:  100 block of Louis Road

            Summary:  Person/s unknown broke the driver’s side rear window of a truck.  Nothing was missing from inside.

 

11/25   Location:  500 block of Pontiac

            Summary:  Between the hours of 5:30pm and 6:45pm, person/s unknown broke out a window in order to gain entry into a residence.  Stolen was a FNP 9mm pistol with three loaded magazines and 51 rounds of ammunition valued at $530;  a Sony Playstation II valued at $200; a Rocky Movie collection valued at $50; Craftsmen tool set valued at $200; a $500 engagement ring and miscellaneous jewelry valued at about $500. 

 

11/26   Location:  Ingalls and Larkin

            Summary:  Brenda A. Patterson, age 48, of 628 Kungs Way in Joliet was arrested for disobeying a traffic control device, driving in the wrong lane, DUI, possession of a controlled substance and possession of cannabis.

 

            Location:  N. Briggs and Copperfield Avenue

            Summary:  Leroy Terry Nobles, Jr., age 24, of 700 Arbor in Joliet was arrested for failure to wear seatbelt, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, illegal transportation of alcohol and possession of cannabis, after he pulled up to a roadside seatbelt enforcement detail and a deputy observed an open, half full bottle of malt liquor in his center console.

 

11/28   Location:  Briggs and Cass

            Summary:  Adalberto Jaime, age 17, of 1004 Hacker Avenue in Joliet was arrested for DUI, speeding, improper lane usage, DUI over the legal limit and underage consumption of alcohol.

 

            Location:  Essington and Pandola

            Summary:  Eric N. Smith, age 23, of 1415 Burger Avenue in Joliet was arrested for DUI, DUI over the legal limit, improper lane usage and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

 

            Location:  Bridge and Center

            Summary:  Matthew M. Fazio, age 37, of 1813 Lynwood in Crest Hill was arrested for DUI, failure to wear seatbelt and operating an uninsured motor vehicle after he pulled up to a seatbelt enforcement detail and a deputy observed an empty can of Milwaukee’s Best Ice Beer on the floor board of his vehicle.

 

11/29   Location:  2500 block of George Avenue

            Summary:  Person/s unknown entered an attached garage and removed a 9000 watt generator, two electric drills and batteries, Craftsman chain saw and an angle drill.

 

            Location:  Briggs and I80

            Summary:  Marco P. Jasso, age 23, of 1416 Rickey Drive in Joliet was arrested for DUI, DUI over the legal limit, improper turn at intersection and speeding.

 

EAST TOWNSHIPS

 

11/24   Location:  University Parkway and Western Avenue               University Park

            Summary:  Wendell P. Richardson, age 31, of 111 Sauk Trail Road in Park Forest was arrested for unlawful use of recorded sounds after Sheriff’s deputies received information from an anonymous caller who stated they were approached by a male/black selling bootleg DVD’s from a red Ford Focus.  Deputies allegedly observed Richardson near the 2400 block of Western Avenue in Crete selling DVD’s around 12:36am.  44 blank DVD’s and 53 packaged DVD’s/CD’s with current movie titles and music titles were recovered.  15 of the 53 had titles that are currently at theaters or available for rental and 12 music CD’s with current artists’ music. 

 

11/25   Location:  800 block of W. Arlington Lane                 Crete

            Summary:  Person/s unknown broke into a residence and stole a 57” Sony LCD TV, a stereo receiver, and a DVD player.   A glass door in a gun cabinet was also broken.  Stolen from the cabinet were six rifles and a handgun.  Value unknown.

 

11/26   Location:  1100 block of 263rd                        Crete

            Summary:  Person/s unknown threw a large boulder thru the passenger side window of a vehicle and stole a purse.

 

11/28   Location:  28054 S. Yates                    Washington                  St. John Lutheran Church

            Summary:  Employee of St. John’s stated that person/s unknown entered the locked garage by forcing it open.  Nothing appeared to be missing however the lock on the roll-up door was damaged in an attempt to break in and the forced open side door was damaged.

 

            Location:  24000 block of S. Thorn Creek Lane                      Crete

            Summary:  Person/s unknown broke into a vehicle by shattering the passenger side window.  A GPS unit and a DVD player were stolen.

 

            Location:  2800 block of E. Spruce Drive                   Crete

            Summary:  Person/s unknown stole a red 2005 Honda ATV from inside a locked shed.  The lock had been cut by offender/s.

 

            Location:  -100 block of Robin Road              Crete

            Summary:  person/s unknown damaged an inflatable Christmas decoration in the front yard of a residence by ripping it.  Offenders also ripped garland off the front steps and knocked over a mailbox.  A neighbor reported to deputies that they observed a small black car, drive down Robin Rd. at a high rate of speed, stop in front of the damaged yard, and using a baseball bat damaged the property.    Deputies are investigating.

 

11/29   Location:  Bemes Rd. and Stoney Island                     Crete

            Summary:  Robert G. Pfrommer Jr., age 49, of 27300 S. Klemme Road in Crete was cited for too fast for conditions, driving while license revoked and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

 

           

SOUTH TOWNSHIPS

 

11/25   Location:  29813 S. Rt. 50                  Peotone      Rolling R Golf Carts

            Summary:  Person/s unknown stole two working batteries out of a Ford F350, company truck, and replaced them with two other dead batteries.
