11/9 Location: 18000 block of S. Ruth Drive New Lenox
Summary: Person/s unknown kicked open a garage service door in order to gain entry into a residence. Stolen was an Ipod Touch, USC, a diamond ring and a silver necklace.
11/11 Location: 900 block of S. Pine New Lenox
Summary: Person/s unknown entered an unlocked vehicle and stole a GPS unit.
11/12 Location: 900 block of S. Pine New Lenox
Summary: Person/s unknown entered an unlocked van and stole $80 USC. The offender/s entered three additional unlocked vehicles and rummaged through them but nothing was stolen.
11/13 Location: 200 block of Somerset Court New Lenox
Summary: Person/s unknown broke out the side rear window of a vehicle.
Location: 19651 Beechnut Drive Frankfort Arbury Hills School (Mokena)
Summary: While conducting extra patrol, Sheriff’s deputies observed graffiti painted on the south wall of the school. It was not determined whether this was a new incident or had happened a while ago.
11/14 Location: 18000 block of Carrie Ct. New Lenox
Summary: Person/s unknown broke into a residence by kicking in the back door. Once inside offender/s stole a jewelry box containing about $2000 worth of miscellaneous jewelry.
Location: 7928 W. Lincoln Highway Frankfort Ryan’s Pub
Summary: At approximately 1:45am, Sheriff’s deputies were called regarding a disturbance. Upon speaking to the victim, a 35 year-old male, Mokena resident, he informed deputies that an unknown subject came up behind him and choked him. Upon speaking to two witnesses, they reported that the victim and two unknown subjects began a verbal argument which resulted in a fight. After bringing the victim to the ground the offenders left.
WEST TOWNSHIPS
11/9 Location: 24000 block of W. Mary Lane Plainfield
Summary: Victim reported that she located a 2007 Ford pickup truck on Craigslist for a cost of $4900. The seller insisted the sale transaction be handled through eBay safe pay.com for security reasons. The victim sent the total amount owed via money order to a “third neutral person” allegedly selected by eBay safe pay. The neutral person was addressed in Atlanta, GA. The victim was told by the seller that this person would cash the money order and then instruct the seller to deliver the truck. When the victim did not receive the truck she began investigating and found that eBay safe pay warns of this scam emanating from Craigslist usually concerning the sale of a vehicle.

Summary: Person/s unknown entered her residence and stole numerous pieces of jewelry. A suspect is being investigated.
Location: 2400 block of Regan Road Plainfield
Summary: Person/s unknown entered an unlocked vehicle and stole several Craftsmen hand tools and electric tools, a GPS unit and an Ipod Touch.
Location: 23000 block of W. Van Horn Lane Plainfield
Summary: Victim received a call from her bank informing her that suspicious charges were made at Shoe Shop in Chicago for $182. The victim did not make the purchase. There appeared to be other suspicious charges on the victims’ account that were being looked into.
11/12 Location: 22000 block of W. Pasadena Drive Plainfield
Summary: Person/s unknown threw a pumpkin thru the rear window of a Saturn L200. Deputies observed the large pumpkin sitting on the center console of the vehicle.
Location: 13000 block of S. Petersburg Drive Plainfield
Summary: At 5:57am a victim started his vehicle and decided to run back into his residence and was inside for two minutes. Upon returning he discovered his driver’s side door had been opened and that person/s unknown stole his lunch bag. Besides the lunch, the bag had the victims’ drivers’ license, SS card and $4 inside.
11/13 Location: 23000 block of W. Link Lane Plainfield
Summary: Person/s unknown entered a vehicle and stole a GPS unit and about 60 CD’s.
Location: 10000 block of Wentworth Drive Wheatland
Summary: Between 11am and 2pm person/s unknown stole a black 2001 Infinity which had been parked at the end of a residential driveway.
Location: 23000 block of W. Grinton Drive Plainfield
Summary: Person/s unknown entered a detached garage and stole an unknown amount of beer from a refrigerator and the garage door remote opener.
11/15 Location: 21119 W. Cypress Court DuPage
Summary: John M. Obrien, age 56, of this address, was arrested for DUI.
11/16 Location: 10S540 Windjammer Lane (Naperville) Wheatland
Summary: Andrius Zube, age 30, of Kaunas, Lithuania was arrested for domestic battery and battery. Rimas Braziulis, age 36, of the Windjammer address, was arrested for domestic battery.
JOLIET
11/9 Location: 100 block of Patterson Road
Summary: A 58 year-old man from Rhode Island was traveling northbound in his 2000 Mitsubishi Mirage on Patterson Road when he approached the Burlington Northern Santa Fe tracks and misjudged the road. Upon reaching the first set of double tracks the man veered to the right traveling eastbound believing he was on Patterson Road. He immediately discovered that the path was not the road, instead it was the train tracks. The vehicle was removed by Sterioti Towing and the driver and his vehicle were released on the scene. The Division Train Master was called to the scene and advised the tracks were not defective.

Summary: Person/s unknown entered an unlocked vehicle and ransacked it. Nothing was stolen.
Location: 1900 block of David Avenue
Summary: Person/s unknown fraudulently used a debit card. The victim received a statement showing charges to a computer website in Germany for $453.
Location: 27665 S. Frontage Road East Powell Equipment Channahon
Summary: Between 11/7 and 11/9, person/s unknown entered the truck parking lot and stole 8 truck tires off a flatbed trailer. The offender/s cut thru a chain link fence, jacked up the trailer, and stole the tires off two axles. The tires were brand new.
11/10 Location: 1100 block of E. Cass
Summary: Victim stated she saw a black male about 14 years of age, 5’ tall, thin, wearing a blue pullover hoodie take a 20” Huffy BMX bicycle from her back yard.
11/11 Location: 1500 block of E. Laraway
Summary: Deputies were advised that a homeowner was blocking his driveway with his vehicle so that an unknown subject currently inside his home could not drive away. Upon arrival deputies observed two male subjects outside. The unknown subject advised that he had been to the home on 11/10 with his realtor and observed the lock box code and entered the home on this date alone. The subject also advised that he was in the process of purchasing the residence and needed to measure the basement for a home theatre system that he was going to put in and that he was leaving 11/12 to go back to Florida. The homeowner stated that he would not pursue criminal charges if the subject’s true intentions were to purchase the home.
Location: 1400 block of Middletree Road
Summary: Person/s unknown used a debit card to purchase several items from Kohl’s. The victim found a UPS delivery on the side of his home containing various items (vacuum cleaner, kids toys, bedding and perfume), all of which he did not order. The order had been placed online and was over $1000. Deputies discovered a note taped to the victims’ front door stating, “Leave packages on the side of the house”. The victim did not write, nor tape the note to his door. Upon investigating it was discovered that the order was placed from Joliet Jr. College, which the victim stated, that with that information, he could possibly identify a suspect. Under investigation.
11/12 Location: E. Cass and N. Hebbard
Summary: Reynaldo A. Reyes, age 25, of 500 N. Hebbard in Joliet was cited for driving while license suspended, no insurance and no taillights. Reyes also had two active Will County warrants for driving while license suspended.
Location: 1700 block of Aspen Lane
Summary: A 73 year old female victim stated that within the past two weeks she has had several items including a certified bank check and a fifteen day supply of morphine taken from her residence. Deputies are investigating whether a home health care provider has information pertaining to these thefts.
Location: S. Briggs and I-80 eastbound
Summary: Michael e. Myers, age 45, of 125 Akin Avenue in Joliet was cited for failure to yield while turning, driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
Location: 300 block of Anderson Avenue
Summary: An unknown vehicle struck a 2003 Honda Civic after 9pm while it was parked in front of a residence. The driver’s side front quarter panel was dented with white paint transfer found.
Location: -100 block of Pheasant Run
Summary: Between 10pm and 11:10pm, an unknown vehicle struck a 2004 Ford Taurus causing damage to the rear passenger tail light and bumper. Deputies observed white paint transfer on the damaged vehicle.
11/13 Location: S. Park Road and E. Washington
Summary: Heather N. Randolph, age 23, of 404 Hebbard in Joliet was cited for failure to yield the right of way at an intersection after she failed to see a Grand Prix, striking it in the intersection. The Grand Prix was transporting two children, ages 3 and 1 who were taken to Silver Cross Hospital for evaluation. Non-life threatening injuries were probable.

Summary: Angel Lopez, age 32, of 403 Harwood in Joliet was cited for failure to yield at intersection, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and no valid driver’s license.
Location: 24000 block of S. Bridge Road
Summary: A victim who stored his 1979 International box van on private property and used the van for storage, had person/s unknown dismantle it with a blowtorch. Several pieces of the van were left at the scene and appeared to have been cut with a blowtorch. It also appeared that the offenders were interested in the aluminum parts off the vehicle. The incident occurred between 11/5 and 11/12.
Location: 1400 block of Middletree Road
Summary: A 65 year-old male victim and his wife advised deputies that between 10pm and 5am, person/s unknown entered their residence while they were asleep and stole $100 USC, an ATM card and a BP gift card. The offender/s had passed thru the victim’s bedroom in order to gain access to the rest of the house. Bank records indicated that the offender/s had already used the ATM card at a local gas station and restaurant.

Summary: April L. Pomykala, age 28, of 214 S. Midland Avenue in Rockdale was arrested for improper lane usage, no insurance, no valid license, DUI and DUI over the legal limit.
11/14 Location: S. Briggs and Mable Avenue
Summary: William R. Graham III, age 22, of 429 Barr Elms Avenue in Joliet was arrested for failure to reduce speed, no insurance, no registration, driving while license revoked and DUI.
Location: 400 block of S. Briggs
Summary: Person/s unknown broke into a garage and stole several hand tools from a toolbox. Offender/s attempted to make entry into the residence also but was unsuccessful.
Location: Rt. 59 and Black Road Shorewood
Summary: Philip C. Kinzler, age 34, of 1104 Waverly in Joliet was cited for speeding in a construction zone, improper lane usage, no insurance and DUI.
Location: 1600 Maple Road Briggs Street Pub
Summary: At 2am, two males in their early 20’s stated that they were inside the bar when they were attacked by three unknown Hispanic men wearing black and blue. One of the victims’ was hit over the head with a glass bottle and suffered several cuts on his head and hand and was transported to Silver Cross Hospital. The other victim suffered a swollen eye and small cuts to his face. He refused medical treatment.
11/15 Location: 600 block of Patterson Rd.
Summary: Victim stated that at about 8pm he heard a loud bang at his front door. When he opened it he observed an unknown male subject, wearing a black hoodie, jeans and blue/white tennis shoes run across his yard. He then discovered a glass door to be partially open and a screen taken off.
Location: 900 block of Magnolia Drive Troy
Summary: Person/s unknown damaged a lock and a door to a shed in a resident’s yard. Was unsure if anything was missing.
Location: I80 and Rt. 53
Summary: Temo Wambo Ngu, age 29, of 2223 Madonna Avenue in Joliet was arrested for DUI, disobeying a traffic control device, no insurance, DUI over the legal limit and illegal transportation of alcohol.
SOUTH TOWNSHIPS
11/9 Location: 24000 block of W. Lake Point Drive Wilmington
Summary: A Yamaha golf cart, valued at $4,100, was stolen by person/s unknown from a resident’s driveway. The keys were not in the ignition.
11/10 Location: 24000 block of S. Kankakee Manhattan
Summary: Melissa A. Flanigan, age 39, of Manhattan was transported to Provena St. Joe’s by Manhattan Fire personnel to be treated for a neck & shoulder pain, a broken collar bone and multiple minor bruises after she was driving north on Kankakee Street when a small animal ran in front of her vehicle and in an attempt to avoid hitting it she lost control of her vehicle, skidded into a ditch and overturned it.
Location: Wilmington-Peotone and Martin Long
Summary: A 65 year old Wilmington man overturned his pickup as he was heading westbound on Wilm-Peotone Road and lost control of his vehicle. It appeared the man may have suffered a diabetic reaction. He was treated at the scene for multiple lacerations on his head, bruising/swelling on his face and forearm by Wilmington Fire personnel and transported to Silver Cross Hospital.
Location: 16000 block of W. Baker Road Manhattan
Summary: Person/s unknown broke into a home and stole two flat screen TV’s that were both mounted on walls. The home is a new construction and the family had not moved in yet.
11/13 Location: 30000 block of S. Kedzie Avenue Wilmington
Summary: Victim stated that she received mail from a leasing firm out of Chicago who informed her that she owed $587 on a lease thru a construction company. The victim was not familiar with any of the information and believes person/s unknown used her identity.
11/14 Location: 15000 block of W. Wilmington-Peotone Wilmington
Summary: Person/s unknown entered an unlocked vehicle and stole about $20 in change.
Location: 28000 block of Fir Lane Wilmington
Summary: Victim stated sometime within the past two weeks person/s unknown stole 5 aluminum wheels and 4 aluminum radiators from a fenced in area.
11/16 Location: W. Coal City Rd. and NB I-55 Reed
Summary: Christopher K. Murre, age 19, of 1920 Carlsbad Circle in Naperville was cited for loud muffler and driving while license suspended.
EAST TOWNSHIPS
11/9 Location: 26000 block of S. Egyptian Trail Monee
Summary: Around 12:08am, victim heard their dog barking and upon investigating observed a light colored, older model, 2-door, Chevy Cavalier with no wheel covers, driving very slowly past the home. The homeowner then discovered that someone had attempted to force entry thru the front door by cracking the door frame.
11/10 Location: Sycamore and S. Western Park Forest
Summary: Brandon E. Hawkins, age 22, no address, was charged with casual delivery and possession of cannibus under 10 grams and Jheramie P. Mack, age 24, of 93 Forest Blvd. in Park Forest was cited for driving with no valid registration.

Summary: Camira T. Rogers, age 21, of 1333 Seeley in Ford Heights was cited for failure to wear safety belt, driving while license suspended and registration suspended.
11/11 Location: 23000 block of S. Ashland Avenue Crete
Summary: Person/s unknown, between 12:30am and 12:45am attempted to enter a locked garage service door. No entry was made however the doorframe was damaged and the lock was bent. The offender/s also had unscrewed the floodlight bulbs near the home.
Location: Exchange St. and Western Avenue Crete
Summary: Domineque D. Brodanex, age 28, of 745 Red Oak Lane in University Park was cited for unlawful display of a registration sticker and Christopher M. Loggins, age 32, of 20153 Juniper Street in Lynwood was cited for driving while license suspended.
Location: 3500 block of E. Danne Road Crete
Summary: Person/s unknown used a vehicle and struck a mailbox.
Location: 2000 block of E. Steger Rd. Crete
Summary: Person/s unknown stole a 1992 Honda Civic CX that was being stored on the property. The offender/s also entered a storage shed and stole 2 oxygen cylinders for welding ($100), 1 acetylene cylinder ($100), a hydraulic floor jack ($100), several electric hand tools (about $900), a trailer tire, a $1,500 pole saw, a 2 chainsaws total value $2,400, an air compressor ($350) and a mig welder ($2,700). A suspect is being investigated.
11/12 Location: Exchange and Whispering Oaks Crete
Summary: A 67 year old female from Crete refused transportation to a hospital by Crete Fire personnel after she fell asleep at the wheel, left the roadway and went into a ditch. The van she was driving sustained heavy front-end damage and the air bags had deployed.
Location: 24000 block of S. Kings Rd. Crete
Summary: A vacant home was broken into by person/s unknown. Offender/s had pried and kicked open a wooden door. Nothing was missing.
Location: 7000 block of W. Dralle Road Monee
Summary: Person/s unknown entered into a residence and stole a 42” TV and a laptop.
11/13 Location: 300 block of W. Delite Inn Road Washington
Summary: Person/s unknown entered a back fenced area and stole a patio style Coca Cola cooler ($80) and several hand tools.
11/14 Location: Blackhawk Drive and University Parkway University park
Summary: Paris J. Wesley, female, age 20, of 629 Forsythe Avenue in Calumet City was cited for driving on a suspended registration.
11/15 Location: E. Indiana Avenue and S. Yates Washington
Summary: Kenneth L. Biesboer, age 39, of 31742 S. Yates in Beecher was cited for failure to yield at intersection after he was involved in an accident with one other vehicle. A 35 year old man, who was a passenger in the victims’ car, was transported to St. Margaret Hospital to have his ankle evaluated. No one else was injured.

Summary: Between 1pm and 5:50pm, person/s unknown forced entry into a residence and stole a 32” LCD television, a laptop, a printer, 5 DVD’s, a jewelry box with miscellaneous jewelry inside, and a ring.
HOMER GLEN
11/9 Location: 16000 block of S. Cedar Road
Summary: Between 11/7 and 11/9 person/s unknown forced entry into a shed and a barn and stole a chainsaw, two socket sets, a two-wheeled hand truck, various hand tools, circular saw, backpack sprayer, leaf blower, a portable generator, livestock feed, food items from a cooler and two cordless battery chargers. Observed on the property was a trail that ran from the buildings to a field. The trail was consistent with that of a portable generator and large enough for a full size truck.
11/11 Location: W. Murvey Drive and S. Wooly Hill Drive
Summary: Barbara J. Stefanski, age 62, from Orland Park was transported to Advocate Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn by Northwest Homer Fire after she was struck by a car while walking her dog south on Wooley Hill Drive at 6:40pm. The driver of the vehicle, a 54 year old female resident of Orland Park, was driving northbound on Wooley Hill when she turned west onto Murvey and struck the victim. She immediately stopped her vehicle, and along with a man in the neighborhood, attended to Stefanski until emergency personnel arrived. There is no public sidewalk and no street lighting at this intersection. Stefanski briefly lost consciousness but all injuries appeared to be non-life threatening.
11/12 Location: 13000 block of W. Farm View
Summary: Person/s unknown damaged a vehicle by throwing a pumpkin at it. A dent was found in the side door and a taillight was broken.
Location: 159th and Parker
Summary: Christopher E. Kula, age 33, of 13248 Maverick Trail in Lockport was cited for driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
11/13 Location: 143rd and Lemont Rd.
Summary: Adam K. Phillips, age 26, of 16540 Tameling Drive in Homer Glen was cited for driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
11/15 Location: 15000 block of S. Gougar
Summary: In the past two weeks, person/s unknown entered a property and stole several tractor weights, an engine and other scrap metal.
LOCKPORT
11/9 Location: 400 block of Dellwood
Summary: Person/s unknown sliced the sidewall of two tires on a Direct TV van that was parked in the driveway of a Direct TV employee.
11/10 Location: Renwick and Aberdeen
Summary: Person/s unknown shot a BB pellet at a vehicle as the victim was traveling westbound on Renwick Road, west of Weber. The pellet penetrated the rear driver’s side window.
11/11 Location: 1113 Highland Avenue Bonnie Brae Sanitary Building
Summary: Between 6pm on 11/10 and Noon on 11/11, person/s unknown spray painted the wall of the office at the sanitary building.
Summary: At 3:18am Lockport Police recovered a green colored backpack containing three cans of spray paint at the 1100 block of E. Ninth Street in Lockport. The spray cans were believed to be used in the graffiti tagging incident.
11/12 Location: 1113 Highland Avenue Bonnie Brae Sanitary Building
Summary: Deputies were called at 7:04am regarding new graffiti found on the front of the sanitary building, along with new graffiti located on the north side of the building. The incident occurred sometime during the overnight hours.
Location: 110 MacGregor Road Ooga-Booga Barbeque
Summary: Owner of restaurant observed graffiti on the north side of his business when he arrived at the restaurant at 9:00am. The paint color used in this incident is consistent with the paint color used in the above incident at the BB sanitary building. This business is approximately 1 block east of the Highland Avenue building.
11/14 Location: 3444 S. State St. One Stop Liquor Store
Summary: A Joliet resident was advised that her 1992 GMC Sonoma pickup truck had been recovered in the parking lot of this business. The vehicle had been previously reported stolen to the Joliet Police Department. The vehicle had been stripped.
Location: Brassel and W. Oak Avenue
Summary: Victim stated while sitting in his vehicle, parked in the area of Brassell and Oak, at about 3:40am, he observed a known acquaintance walking towards his vehicle. The acquaintance then threw a beer bottle at the driver’s side window causing it to shatter. The bottle continued through the window and struck the victim in the head. The acquaintance then fled the scene. The victim refused medical attention. Under investigation.
